올해 타임100인에 선정된 '아티스트' 부문 '봉준호' 감독 페이지, 에 다시 방문해 보았습니다. ^^

'타임100' 공식 타이틀은 "THE 100 MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE OF 2020"입니다.

봉준호 감독에 대해선 배우 틸다 스윈튼이 추천사를 썼는데요. 그야말로 '형용사 대잔치'입니다.

'극찬'이라는 표현보다 더 센 (쎈.. 쎄엔~~) 낱말이 필요한 순간입니다.

스윈튼 배우, 시인이거나 소설가이거나, 글로 또 한 번 아티스트임을 과시했달까요.

그렇게 길지 않은 글이라, 조금씩 나눠가며 해석해 봤습니다.

 

 

There is a word in Korean, ahjussi, which refers to an average older man. 
한국어에 '아저씨'란 단어가 있다. 중년 남자란 뜻이다.

Bong Joon Ho and I have always found what we call the “ahjussi pose” unbelievably funny,
봉준호 감독과 내가 늘 생각했던 건, '아저씨 포즈'가 무척이나 우스꽝스럽다는 거다.
